Opinion
The fresh water is a big problem in the desert countries and the pipes idea was a great way to solve the fresh water problem to save money.
The Main idea
The main idea is that the water problem in Libya was solved and was distributed to the villages and the cities by making pipes to carry fossil water from beneath the desert.

Summary( the eighth wonder of the world)
The longest Man-Made River project changed Libyan lives.
The government wanted to supply the people with the water so they started the project after they discovered fossil water in 1984.Foreign companies supplied the government with the technical help. In 1993 one Phase 1 goal was to support the eastern well-fields and it's finished. Phase 2 was about the western well-fields and it’s finished. Phase 3 was to link Phase1 with Phase 2 and when the article was written it was not complete.
The project improved the economy of Libya and improved the agriculture in the country
